We have consistently provided internship opportunities for our students, enabling them to address practical R&D challenges by applying the knowledge and skills they have learnt in class. This strategic partnership with Tencent marks a significant milestone for the Faculty of Engineering. It strengthens our efforts to develop more R&D talent for Hong Kong and the broader Greater Bay Area.”

Mr Luo said: “Tencent is dedicated to recruiting and nurturing talent from tertiary institutions, with emphasis on the development of technology professionals. We value the opportunity to learn and grow alongside these outstanding young talents at CUHK. This collaboration will provide students with diverse corporate internships and practical opportunities, along with hands-on experience of tackling cutting-edge technological challenges. Through this partnership, we look forward to building a broad platform for talent acquisition and promoting scientific and technological innovation in the Greater Bay Area.”
