Event Details:

The “Teaching and Learning Innovation Expo 2021“, jointly organised by Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR), the Centre for eLearning Innovation and Technology (ELITE) and Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC), will take place online from 26 July 2021 (Monday) to 30 July 2021 (Friday). The Expo is an annual event since 2007 to provide a mutually supportive platform for university educators as well as teaching and learning support units to share educational experiences and insights through dialogues, discussions, and interactive presentations.

This year, the Expo will be extended to one week. The first two days (26 – 27 July) will be the pre-event period, followed by a three-day main event (28 – 30 July). In the pre-event period, there will be various invited workshops focusing on educational technologies and service-learning.

In the main event, we will have speeches from awardees of 2020 University Grant Committee (UGC) Teaching Award and University Education Award. There will also be panel discussions covering two hot topics: “New Normal Teaching Experience and Reflection” and “Service-Learning in Higher Education”. Moreover, we will have close to 80 talks in parallel theme sessions, and an interactive poster session in which you can discuss personally with the authors of our over 60 exhibited posters. A gallery of all e-posters and their corresponding explanatory videos will be exhibited on the Expo website for preview before the event.
