Mr. Wucius Wong

Mr. Wong was born in 1936 in Guangdong Province, China. He worked as assistant curator at the City Museum and Art Gallery and principal lecturer at the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic from 1967 to 1984. He received the John D. Rockefeller Fund Grant in 197l, and the Emeritus Fellowship of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in 1998. In 2006, The Hong Kong Museum of Art organised his retrospective exhibition and in 2007 The Hong Kong SARGovernment presented him the Bronze Bauhinia Star Medal. He is currently Adjunct Professor of the Fine Arts Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, expert adviser to the Leisure and Culture Department, and member of the Art School Council of the Hong Kong Arts Centre.
