Synopsis

Fleur is the blue angel in one of Hong Kong’s “flower houses” – bordellos and night clubs of the 1930s. As a detached and beautiful performer, she falls in love with Twelfth Master Chan from an affluent family. Their relationship does not gain approval of Chan’s parents though, and they agree to a suicide pact and meet again in the netherworld. After waiting for Chan for 53 years, Fleur’s spirit appears in a newspaper office, in the hope of placing an advertisement to find Chan……

This film was awarded the Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay and other awards in the 8th Hong Kong Film Awards.
