The “Teaching and Learning Innovation Expo 2022“, jointly organised by Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR), the Centre for eLearning Innovation and Technology (ELITE) and Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC), will be held from 14 to 16 December 2022 (Hong Kong Time). 

As one of the major events held annually at CUHK since 2007, the Expo provides an excellent opportunity and mutually supportive platform for colleagues to exchange ideas, practices and expertise with members of the higher education sector. The motto this year is “Transforming Education for Excellence”. While the pandemic has upended the higher education landscape, it nevertheless provides an unprecedented opportunity to reshape and transform education practice for excellence. We aim to bring pioneers and educators together to share the lessons learnt, rethink the future of education, and better prepare students for an evolving future.

The first day of the event will be conducted in-person in the Lee Shau Kee Building of CUHK. There will be 5 keynotes by recipients of the CUHK University Education Award sharing their stories and teaching philosophies, and a poster presentation session with 50 posters. On 15 and 16 December, all sessions will be held online via Zoom. There will be panel discussion sessions and special workshops on important topics such as the support for special educational needs (SEN), the potential of using Metaverse in education, as well as the sharing of conducting research on teaching and learning. Last but not least, 48 live oral presentations by pioneering teachers will be held in themed parallel sessions.
