活動概覽:

With the spread of COVID-19, many countries have opted to impose a lockdown, which has largely reduced economic activity. The coronavirus pandemic is set to have a massive impact on global economy – China is no exception. According to official data, China’s GDP shrank by 6.8% in the first quarter of 2020. As the outbreak has been contained in China lately, can China’s economy rebound post-COVID-19? We are pleased to have Dr. Paul Kitney, Adjunct Professor of Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics, to analyze the pandemic’s impact on China’s economy and whether China can reset to explosive growth.

Dr. Kitney was the Chief Equity Strategist for Asia Pacific at Daiwa Capital Markets, having previously worked as an investment strategist at Morgan Stanley and Blackrock, with over 30 years’ experience in Asia-Pacific markets and economies. He is a frequent guest on a number of international media channels including Bloomberg and CNBC.

In this webinar, we will also provide you with insights into the MBA curriculum, admissions process, scholarship options and different career opportunities. Our alumni will spill the beans about their unique CUHK MBA experience.
