The sampling error is + or &ndash; 3.46% at a confidence level of 95%.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Major findings are summarized as follows:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Satisfaction with the HKSAR Government.<\/strong>&nbsp; According to the survey of April 2014, while 38.1% of respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the HKSAR Government, 22.2% said they were satisfied.&nbsp; 39.4% of 803 respondents answered 'in-between'.&nbsp; The corresponding figures in March 2014 were 41.0%, 19.0%, and 39.1%.&nbsp; Results of this month were not significantly different from those of the past month statistically.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Rating of Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying.<\/strong>&nbsp; The current survey showed that the performance rating of Chief Executive (with a point scale ranging from 0 to 100 while 50 as a passing mark) stood at 47.1 in average and it was 44.3 last month.&nbsp; Statistically significant difference in the performance rating of Leung Chun-ying was found between this month and March 2014.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Ratings of Three Secretaries. <\/strong>&nbsp;The ratings of Chief Secretary for Administration (Carrie Lam), Financial Secretary (John Tsang), and Secretary for Justice (Rimsky Yuen) in April 2014 were 60.8, 57.6, and 53.0 respectively.&nbsp; The corresponding figures in March 2014 were 57.8, 56.0, and 50.5.&nbsp; Statistically significant differences in the performance rating of Carrie Lam and Rimsky Yuen were found between March and April 2014.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Overall Rating of the HKSAR Governing Team (including politically-appointed officials). <\/strong>&nbsp;The overall rating of the HKSAR governing team was 48.7 in April 2014 and 47.0 in March 2014.&nbsp; Statistically, the rating of this month was not significantly different from that of March 2014.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Trust in the HKSAR and the Central Governments.&nbsp; <\/strong>In April 2014, 24.3% of respondents showed trust in the HKSAR government and 33.2% expressed distrust.&nbsp; 40.9% answered 'in-between'.&nbsp; The results of March 2014 were 23.5%, 36.5%, and 39.2% respectively.&nbsp; Concerning the level of trust in the Central Government, in April 2014, while 38.5% said they did not trust the Central Government, 22.8% answered the opposite.&nbsp; 36.0% said 'in-between'.&nbsp; The corresponding figures in the previous month were 37.4%, 21.5%, and 38.2% respectively.&nbsp; No statistically significant changes were found between March and April 2014.<\/p>","show_as_achievement":false,"achievement_category":[],"show_as_clarification":false,"show_as_announcement":false,"photos":null,"attachments":null,"video_source":null,"video_file":null,"add_play_button":false,"video_caption":"","show_migration":false,"original_id":"1805","photos_original":null,"attachments_original":[{"link":"535dd3199a147.pdf","text":"Attachment (Chinese version only)"}]},"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":{"enabledWorkflows":[]},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cpr.cuhk.edu.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/press\/48797","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cpr.cuhk.edu.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/press"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cpr.cuhk.edu.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/press"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.cpr.cuhk.edu.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/press\/48797\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cpr.cuhk.edu.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=48797"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.cpr.cuhk.edu.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=48797"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
