The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School has recently achieved impressive results in three international business case competitions held in the US, Canada and Spain, with its student teams clinching two first runners-up positions and one second runners-up position. Competing against elite institutions, they applied rigorous business thinking to tackle complex, real-world challenges, pushing their boundaries and developing their leadership and collaboration skills.<\/p>\r\n

I take pride in their achievements and look forward to their continued pursuit of excellence.\u201d<\/p>\r\n Third prize at <\/strong>McDonough Business Strategy Challenge (MBSC) 2026 \u2013 Washington, D.C.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Jessica Cheuk (IBBA, Year 3), Matthias Chong (IBCE, Year 3), Lauren Ho (IBBA, Year 3) and Shing-him Lee (QFRM, Year 3) finished second runner-up in the McDonough Business Strategy Challenge 2026, organised by Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. The event brought together 60 elite students from 15 top international universities, challenging them with a real-world case involving built heritage advocacy group the DC Preservation League.<\/p>\r\n The teams battled it out over several intense rounds of competition and multiple presentations. The CUHK team\u2019s winning strategies focused on expanding membership, exploring new revenue streams and reconstructing the board of trustees for greater effectiveness and impact.<\/p>\r\n Second <\/strong>prize at <\/strong>CaseIT MIS Case Competition (CaseIT) 2026 \u2013 Vancouver<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Another team of four \u2013 Ryan Chi (GBS, Year 3), Panitsiree Choochua (IBBA, Year 3), Jasmine Wong (BBAJD, Year 2) and James Li (IFAA, Year 2) \u2013 took second prize at the CaseIT MIS Case Competition 2026.
