Recently, <strong>Professor Anthony Chan Tak-cheung<\/strong>, CUHK Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Alumni\/Community Engagement &amp; Institutional Advancement), and <strong>Professor Ko Wing-hung<\/strong>, Associate Vice-President (Student Experience) and University Dean of Students, led a delegation of faculty members and scholarship recipients on a visit to the headquarters of Sun Hung Kai Properties. They met with <strong>Ms Amy Kwok<\/strong>, Executive Director of the SHKP-Kwoks\u2019 Foundation, to share the programme\u2019s latest developments.<\/p>\r\n<p>Professor Chan expressed his gratitude to the foundation for its longstanding support and highlighted the committed partnership that has been built over the years. He noted that the programme not only provided important financial assistance but also reflected the commitment of the business sector to working with universities and nurturing future talent. Professor Ko added that CUHK greatly valued the scholarship programme and has been dedicated to ensuring its quality and effective implementation.<\/p>\r\n<p>Ms Kwok said: \u201cSun Hung Kai Properties is committed to \u2018Building Homes with Heart\u2019 and my late father Mr Kwok Tak-seng firmly believed in the importance of education and nurturing talent. The Foundation supports outstanding and hardworking students, encouraging them to pursue academic excellence and realise their potential.\u201d She encouraged recipients to make the most of their studies at CUHK, broaden their horizons and contribute to society in the future.<\/p>\r\n<p>During the meeting, scholarship recipients shared their appreciation for the foundation\u2019s support. They spoke about their learning experiences at CUHK, as well as taking part in overseas exchange programmes, internships and community service activities that have broadened their horizons and enriched their personal growth.<\/p>\r\n<p>Since its launch in 2005, the \u201cSHKP-Kwoks\u2019 Foundation\/CUHK \u2013 Local Students Scholarships\u201d programme has provided financial assistance to outstanding students with financial needs, enabling them to pursue undergraduate studies at CUHK.
