Born in a rural area of Henan, China, he lost both arms at the age of four in an electrical accident. While that closed a door on him, he opened a window to future renown by learning to write with his mouth.<\/p>\r\n<p>Over the years, Mr Zhang has mastered various calligraphic styles and sought mentorship from esteemed figures such as Geng Chunlin, Liu Xi\u2019an and Zhang Rongqing. He has continuously explored new ways to convey his worldview, outlook on life and values.
