In this performance, Xiqu performing arts creator Jiang Junjie, Cantonese Opera performer Du Yongxin and jazz performer Tang Xiaoqing will break through the traditional stage setting of Cantonese Opera and guide students to understand how contemporary theatrical elements are skillfully integrated into the tradition of Cantonese Opera.<\/p>\r\n The three performers will demonstrate Cantonese Opera stances, play Nanyin and adapt jazz music on the spot, linking these three elements into a compelling escape story that will delight the audience with an audio-visual feast and a wonderful fusion of Chinese and Western musical cultures.
