A CUHK Staff Preliminarily Tested Positive for COVID-19

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was informed yesterday (6 January) that a staff has been preliminarily tested positive for COVID-19 infection.

This staff, who works for the Department of Chemical Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine, last returned to office at the Prince of Wales Hospital on 28 December 2020. The office of the staff concerned is also currently closed for disinfection and work-from-home and testing have been arranged for other colleagues. The University will closely monitor the situation and carry out necessary measures to follow up with the case.
