CUHK’s Transportation Arrangement after MTR Reopens the University Station

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is informed by the MTR today (20 December) that part of the University Station will be reopened on 21 December (Saturday). In view of the reopening of the University Station, the shuttle buses running between Tai Po Market Station (Tat Wan Road, near Exit A2) and Sir Run Run Shaw Hall on the Central Campus will end at 7:30 pm on 23 December (next Monday).

To ensure campus safety, the University has stepped up its security measures and the Campus Access Management Measures will be continued. All University staff and students are required to present their CU Link cards. Alumni must show their Alumni Library Card or CU Alumni Credit Card to prove their identity.  Others are required to show relevant temporary permits before entry. Information on transportation services on campus can be viewed at http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/transport_office/index.html. To prepare for the commencement of the second term (6 January), there will be new arrangements for the shuttle bus service. Details will be announced in due course. The University will continue to monitor the situation closely and make appropriate announcements if there are any changes.
