‘CU50 • Care’ Campaign and Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service has jointly held a ‘Dragon Boat Festival Elderly Care Programme’. Forty volunteers of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) expressed their love and care to the elderly by visiting them in various housing estates in Wong Tai Sin and gave away traditional Chinese rice dumplings and gifts to them.

About CU50Care

To celebrate its golden jubilee, CUHK launches the ‘CU50‧Care’ programme which encourages all members of the University, including students, staff, alumni and friends, to 50 hours of community service commitments within the jubilee year, assembling their power to contribute to our society. The service mainly focuses on five key areas, namely, the elderly, children, ethnic minority groups, environmental protection and medical and health care.
