Synopsis of Lecture:

The cultural politics of nuclear energy will be explored in the forum. The power -plant is not only situated in physical space but also embedded in the fabric of power in Asia. Robert Gould, M.D. will speak on Physicians’ Ethics and Generations at Risk: The PSR model of Physician Activism while writer Lill Liu will examine the cultural constructions within and beyond nuclear power plants. Respondent Man Si Wai will underscore certain themes by elaborating on local concerns.
