We are delighted to announce that the 9th Chinese University Journalism Award (CUJA) is now open for entries.

The CUJA was launched by The Chinese University of Hong Kong Journalism and Communication Alumni Association in 2003. This bi-annual event aims to promote professional practices in journalism in Hong Kong through recognizing the contributions of distinguished journalists. Since its inception, the CUJA has been widely recognized and supported by journalists and the public.

The five categories of the CUJA this year are listed below:
Best Text & Print News Reporting
Best Text & Print News Feature
Best Video News Reporting
Best Video News Feature
Best Audio News Reporting/News Feature

Both individual and group work are accepted. Submissions must have been published or broadcast in print, electronic or new media during the two-year period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2019.

List of award recipients and details of the Award Presentation Ceremony will be announced in late 2019.
