Event Details:

To enable the public to grasp the unique painting techniques of the Lingnan School of Painting, the Art Museum has organized several painting workshops in which Mr. Ross Yau, a Hong Kong artist is invited to introduce the basic techniques of the School and guide the participants through working on a piece of Chinese ink painting.

Tutor: Mr. Ross Yau (Artist and graduate of the Department of Fine Arts, CUHK)
Quota: 20 people for each session. First come, first served.

Artist’s Bio
Yau Wing Fung received his Master and Bachelor degree in Fine Arts (First Class Honours) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Yau concentrates on ink media creations and focuses on researching spatial aesthetics of landscape painting and the transition of ink spirit in current situation. Yau has participated some solo and group exhibitions, including “Art Basel” and “Ink Asia” etc. Yau has attained some awards including Y.S. HUI Fine Arts Award, Wucius Wong New Ink Art Award, Talent Development Scholarship etc.
