Synopsis of Lecture:

Synopsis

When charismatic English Professor John Keating arrives at a conservative boys’ boarding school, his unconventional teaching methods breathe new life into the curriculum steeped in tradition. With his wit and wisdom, Keating inspires his students to pursue individual passions and make their lives extraordinary. He encourages the students to form a “Dead Poet Society”, in which they read poems and talk about lives freely. Consequently, Keating takes the blame of inappropriate indulgence and is forced to resign from his teaching post.

This film was awarded the Best Original Screenplay in the 62nd Academy Awards.
