The Department of Social Work of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is thrilled to share with you that we will be organizing an International Conference on “Enhancing Social Inclusion and Sustainability in a VUCA Era”
The conference will be held on 15 May 2026 at the Yasumoto International Academic Park, CUHK. This international conference aims to bring together thought leaders, practitioners, and researchers specialising in youth and childhood, family and group practice, and social policy to explore strategies and best practices for fostering inclusive and sustainable communities in a world characterized by Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA). Over the course of the event, participants will engage in plenary sessions and dynamic discussions that address critical issues such as equitable access to resources, individual and family well-being, community resilience, and sustainable development practices.
