講座摘要:

On Saturday, 5 January 2013, after coping with lung cancer for over three years, the author Leung Ping-kwan (penname Ye Si) died. It is difficult not to think of his death as the untimely passing of a remarkable writer whose contributions to postwar Chinese-language literature and culture have yet to be fully understood. As a tribute to Leung, this lecture will focus on the relationships among form, artistic practice, and what may be called an ethics of space in his work.
