活動概覽:

You may be looking for an early bird flight ticket to feel the beat of South Korea in term break. Before you set out for your trip, there is another way to have similar experiences, CLOSE and for FREE! The Office of Student Affairs is going to bring you brand-new experiences of Korean Culture on campus this autumn. In the first week of Korean Cultural Festival, the Cultural Square will be loaded with Korean taste and rhythm. Apart from K-Pop and K-food in the first week, four K-activities in the second week of Korean Cultural Festival await to bring you more exciting experiences!

1. Opening Ceremony of Korean Cultural Festival Kick-off event of the Korean Cultural Festival with a unique music performance by QUEEN, a female band from South Korea blending modern music with traditional Korean music, and K-Pop dances by professional dancers.

2. K-Food Party in Campus
What is more important than satisfying your taste bud? This time, K-food is not just shown in TV dramas or travel guides – we will bring plenty of delicious Korean food for you to enjoy!

3. K-Pop Evening
K-Pop acoustic band and dancing performances will be presented by the Chinese University Korean Student Association and the performers from other local universities. Let’s ROCK the campus!

4. K-Game Booth
Relax and take a break! The CUHK Korean Cultural Society will set up a booth to introduce Korean traditional games to you and your friends.

5. K-Makeup Class (Limited quota! First come, first served) The CUHK Korean Cultural Society is going to present a Korean makeup class and demonstrate the latest Korean makeup style. Feel the magic on your look and you will shine!

6. K-Cookery Workshop (Limited quota! First come, first served) The Chinese University Korean Student Association will teach you how to make kimchi and bossam (a pork dish). If you want to taste the real Korea, register now!

7. K-Cultural Talk
Mr. Steve Chung, a Korean guru from the Global Studies Programme, Faculty of Social Science will give a cultural talk and have a dialogue with our special guest, Miss Sue Chang, Korean Tourism Ambassador, on Korean food culture. Definitely not to be missed!
