Synopsis of Lecture:

The famous American author Mark Twain once remarked, “I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.” Confronted with endless assignments and bounded in an educational system that is not tailored made for every individual, students in Hong Kong may feel lost at times. This interactive lecture therefore introduces to the audience some clever ways to find one’s own educational path. The three speakers – all faculty members from the Department of Educational Psychology, CUHK – will talk specifically about study skills, mindset of learning, and creative thinking. The speakers recently co-authored a book on the psychology of learning published by the Commercial Press in July 2012.
