Today, technology provides an unprecedented level of convenience in our daily lives and new ways to interact with our communities. For example, we can order food with the click of a mouse and share our opinions with friends all over the world by text or voice messages. The third seminar of the China Business Knowledge @ CUHK Luncheon Series, “The Impact of Technology on Consumer Behaviour”, will explore this topic on 30 November. At this luncheon talk, Prof. Shen Hao will discuss how different interfaces, such as touch screens and voice recordings, influence the way consumers think about and react to a product or brand. Continuing the topic, alumnus Mr. Adrian Tam, a senior executive at Octopus Cards Limited, will talk about how Octopus has transformed its business in the digital era by prioritising customers and merchants while implementing innovative changes to its business strategy over the past two decades.
