Synopsis of Lecture:

Strategic communication by corporations and other organizations is an expanding field of practice globally. Cross-country and comparative research, however, is rare and difficult to conduct. Professor Zerfass will report about the Global Communication Monitor study series across more than 80 countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America. More than 5,000 professionals are surveyed in each wave of the (bi-)annual surveys, providing rare insights into the profession and its development. Behind-the-scenes insights into the project setup, partners, research frameworks, and success factors are shared. Moreover, a first preview into still unpublished results of the latest study in Greater China and Asia-Pacific will be discussed.
