Biography of Speaker:

The Rev. Dr. Daniel Hoi Ming HUI has assumed the duty of college chaplain of Chung Chi College since September of 2013. He is an experienced Minister of the Church of Christ in China Hong Kong working for over thirty years as Minister- In- Charge in urban city. Rev Hui got his B.A (1983), B.D (1992) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chung Chi College, his alma mater; D. Min. (1999) from the International Theological Seminary, M.Phil. (2002) and Ph.D (2007) from the University of Birmingham. As a teacher, he also taught part-time in seminaries, and more than thirty academic papers of him have been published in various journals since 2003. As a Christian writer, he has written a great deal of articles for Christian Weekly, Christian Times, Ming Pao and Sun Pao Religious Section since 1987. He has also published more than 20 books on spiritual life, meditation and various topics of Christian life to nurture Christians since 1989. After retiring from Chung Chi College, Rev. Hui will be invited as Head of senior pastors of Hop Yat Church, the Church of Christ in China.
