Biography of Speaker:

The Rev. Dr. Yosuke, MATSUTANI is an Honorary Research Associate of Divinity School of Chung Chi College, Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Post-doctoral Fellow for Research Abroad, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, as well as an ordained pastor of the United Church of Christ in Japan. The Rev. MATSUTANI obtained M.Div. at Tokyo Union Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. at Kitakyushu City University. His research interests lie in the area of history of Chinese Christianity, Hong Kong Christianity and Sino-Japanese Christian relations.
