A fine day awaits in CU in the 15th of the first month of the lunar calendar.

The beginning of the New Year is a time for wishes.

Granted or not, wishes mark the beginning of a long journey, originated from a blink of the mind.
Ideas might be big or small. It is positivity which enables one to enjoy the journey, and sees one through the twists and turns along the way.
Be it work or play, change the mind to transform the surroundings. Wish you all health and joy.
Open your mind for sunshine even in rain and storm. There is always a fine day in CU.
On 22th, February in the University Mall, let’s transform the New Year with the celebration of the Lantern Festival.

Event details:
(I.) 12:30-2:00 pm
Talk: New Year. Fine Year
Speakers: Rev. Thomas Kwan, Ven. Chuan Deng
Venue: The Gate of Wisdom
Language: Cantonese
All teachers and students are welcome.

Life awakens and prospers upon the arrival of spring. Yet, seasons do change which sees the inevitable coming and going of all things living.

The New Year is a time for making new wishes. Why don’t we look in retrospect of all the nice things in life which have already in place, before deciding on what needs to be established and eliminated?

To have a nice year ahead, let’s first redefine the word “nice”. What is and what isn’t? How can one live a life which avoids the bad and cultivates the good?

(II.)  2:30-4:00 pm
All events will be held simultaneously. All teachers and students are welcome:

1. Journey of peacefulness: relaxation, sit in meditation, walk in meditation
