In celebration of Shaw College’s 30th year of establishment, the Alumni Association joins hands with the College Office to co-organize a major green event at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), “Follow the Green Brick Road: Glass Bottle Recycling Challenge”.
Together with your support, we hope to create a new record of collecting the most glass bottles in one hour.
The event will be held at the Lecture Theatre of Shaw College and officiated by Mr. WONG Kam-sing, JP, Secretary for the Environment of the Hong Kong SAR.
Honouring the Fifth Pillar of Shaw College, “Protecting the Environment”, all glass bottles collected in the event would be reproduced into eco-friendly bricks. These bricks would be used to pave the College Alumni Trail in acknowledgement of your contribution.
