Event Details:

The International Conference on Youth Studies and Public Policy is organized by Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies (HKIAPS) and Department of Government and Public Administration, co-organized by Master of Public Policy Programme, Public Policy Research Centre, Youth Studies Programme, with support from Faculty of Social Science. It is one of the celebrating events for the HKIAPS 25th Anniversary. The Conference serves as a platform for scholars’ discussion on the past, present and future of youth development, and also for the exchange of public ideas between academics and policymakers on this important topic. It aims to conduct a comprehensive study of youth development and public policy in Hong Kong and China from an international comparative perspective. Youth as agency, their transition, citizenship, media and consumption will be discussed in the conference.
