Following the success of the 2016 Pre-symposium Seminar on Autism Spectrum Disorders by Professor Patricia Prelock, The Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is glad to have invited Prof Prelock back to provide a two-day event titled “Advances in Communication Assessment and Theory of Mind Intervention for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders” in spring 2018.

Objectives of the Seminar:
1) Identifying communication profiles for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
2) Addressing the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders with different communication profiles
3) Advancement of Theory of Mind intervention and clinical strategies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
4) Narrative and story book reading to support Theory of Mind development
