Event Details:

A Chinese pottery art exhibition entitled ‘Untrammelled Craftsmanship’ of Mr. Huo Guanzhao, a renowned Chinese potter, will be held from 20 January to 18 February 2016 at the Exhibition Gallery, G/F of Chan Chun Ha Hall, S.H. Ho College. 30 Shiwan pottery artworks will be displayed. Shiwan, known as ‘A Thousand-year Pottery City’, is famous in its figurines which originated in Chinese tile ridge pottery art in Ming and Qing dynasties. The exhibition will display the distinctive humanistic outlook of the region such as ‘Little Bull Fighter’ which reveals the issue of reluctant relocatees in the mainland, while some abstract artworks expressing tranquil sublimity are showcased. The opening ceremony will be held on 20 January at 5:30 p.m. on G/F of Chan Chun Ha Hall. You are welcome to participate in the ceremony and appreciate the refined artworks.
