Biography of Speaker:

Prof. KWOK obtained BA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong; MA and Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley (Double Major in Modern European and Chinese Intellectual History). Since 1977, Prof. KWOK taught in History Department, CUHK. He was also the Dean of Faculty of Arts and University Dean of Students. In 2005, He was the Founding Executive Vice-President of Beijing Normal University—HK Baptist University United International College. In 2011, Prof. Kwok was the first Chinese Scholar to obtain Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humanities from Augsburg College, Minnesota in its 142-year history. One year later, he was appointed as Deputy Chairman of Peter Drucker Academy Group, developing strategic development of social ecology of the founder of modern management by Peter Drucker. Prof. KWOK was also appointed as Honorary President of New Asia Arts and Business College in the same year.
