Mr. Chung Yung-feng

Biography of Speaker:

Taiwanese poet, community worker, music album producer and cultural administrator. Born in Meinung District of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, he was formerly Executive Director of Meinung Peoples’ Association; Director of Water Resources Bureau, Kaohsiung City Government; and Director-general of Cultural Affairs Bureau, Chiayi City Government. He was appointed as Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government from October 2016 to December 2018. Mr. Chung also has great expertise in lyrics writing. He had collaborated with singer Lin Sheng Xiang to produce seven albums and was awarded the Best Album Producer and the Best Pop Music Songwriter of the Golden Melody Awards. His publications include, inter alia, 《我等就來唱山歌》and《重遊我莊》.
