Vision-based Intelligent Forklift AGV System

Vision-based Intelligent Forklift AGV System, a research project led by Prof. Liu Yun-hui, Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, and Director of CUHK T Stone Robotics Institute, is one of the most successful examples of a start-up assisted by the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services of CUHK. The robotic technology enables a forklift truck to navigate and control its motion, and avoid obstacles independently, realizing the automation of transportation tasks in factories and warehouses.
