What I learnt from CUHK – Humanism

5 Jun, 2020

If you ask what attributes CUHK graduates have in common, humanism must be one of them. Arnold Chan joined an investment bank after he graduated from the prestigious Global Business Studies programme. The high-flyer quit his million-dollar job several years later and founded the NGO Teach For Hong Kong, which provides life and careers lessons and runs extracurricular activities for less privileged students in grassroots schools, with a mission to bridge Hong Kong’s educational inequality. Honoured as one of the ‘Ten Outstanding Young Person Selection 2019’ and selected as one of Forbes ‘30 Under 30’ Asian Social Entrepreneurs list 2019, Arnold will describe his alma mater’s humanistic influence on him.
